Benefiting Investments

Investments Benefiting from the Investment Promotion Law No.(16) of 1995.

As a testimony to Jordan’s positive investment environment is the great success encountered by investment projects benefiting from the Investment Promotion Law in various economic sectors. The total value reached around 8.9 billion USD in the past three years. In the year 2009, the highest sectors benefiting are industry (79%) followed with hotels (9.4%). Domestic investment contribution amounted to 61% whereas foreign direct investment reached 39% in the years 2009.
