About the One Stop Shop (OSS)

In its continuous efforts to adopt state of the art standards in providing services, the Jordan Investment Board proudly launched its One Stop Shop OSS service. This service aims at providing licensing and registration services to new projects.

The OSS is all you need to get your business up and running. It combines representatives located at JIB from most of the governmental agencies dealing with the registration and licensing of projects. These representatives are of:

• The Ministry of Industry and Trade
• Ministry of Interior
• Ministry of Environment
• Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs
• Greater Amman Municipality
• Ministry of Labor
• Ministry of Health
• Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities
• Department of Land and Survey,

In addition to the devoted Jordan Investment Board staff.

OSS provides the following services:

1. Registration of projects according to The Companies Law.
2. Issuing preliminary licensing approvals for the start-up of projects.
3. Issuing visas and permanent residency approvals for investors and foreign labor needed for the project.
4. More benefits and services.

OSS provides services to projects within the following sectors; Industry, Agriculture, Hotels, Hospitals, Maritime transport, Railways, Leisure and Recreational Compounds, Convention and Exhibition Centers in addition to projects in Pipeline Transportation, and Distribution Services for Water, Gas and Petroleum Derivatives as well as its Exploitation, or any other investment project which has a 50,000 JD non-Jordanian share.

We are dedicated to providing you with the best services today and in the future. OSS is a first step on the way of simplifying procedures where services will be evaluated within three months in order to improve and provide further facilitation.
