Jordan Investment Board (JIB) has completed its participation in the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) which was held from 14th- 20th November, 2011 at El Hassan Science City.
Jordan Investment Board received this week a Portuguese delegation comprising of representatives from the private sector.
During the business meeting, Deputy CEO and Promotion Director Mr. Elias Farraj, highlighted the competitive advantages of the kingdom in addition to the promising economic outlook of Jordan.

Amman July 13, 2011- Volume of total investments registered in the kingdom reached approximately JD1.1 billion in the first half of this year, of which JD614 million were registered through Jordan Investment Board (JIB) compared to around JD876.2 million during the same period of last year. The remaining sum of around JD490 million in investments were registered at the development zones.
Amman July 6, 2011- Jordan Investment Board participated recently in the Annual Meeting of the National Contact Points (NCPs) for the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) for Multinational Enterprises which was held from June 27 till June 29, 2011 in France.
Jordan Investment Board and the Euro-Mediterranean Association for Cooperation and Development (EMA) have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to bolster bilateral ties and promote commercial and industrial relations between private sectors of Jordan and Germany.
